Above are some lovely shots of Shanghai I took recently - it was amazing, I totally loved it, I havent been to Shanghai for a few years and it was a overload for the senses, especially the laneways of Taikang Road, the artistic community in these small laneways that just seem to keep going was wonderful, while I was there I really felt like I could stay and open a gorgeous AURA Shanghai store....Maybe one day we can all dream!

Kate Spade - Xmas wrapping inspiration in Hong Kong
I do love the constant colour overload at Kate Spade, and her HK store windows were no exception. They have made me start thinking about my Christmas wrapping (about time since today is December 12th!) and I dont know which way to go - bright and metallic or earthy and natural - I think I might have to mix them both as even though I am feeling abit more natural these days its hard to go away from exotic colours like this. So now I have to start thinking about gifts and putting up the tress since I have the wrapping worked out! In case you havent guessed im never very organised at Christmas....

The streets of Hong Kong
In the shots above - I felt like I could have been in New York! The stores are huge and there are people everywhere! Below is more like my Hong Kong!
Above and below, the escalators up to Soho (yes Soho in Hong Kong!) as the streets are so steep they have made an escalator that takes you up the hill (good idea)
Homeless, a cool homewares store in Hong Kongs Soho (below) that specialises in international brands.Sleeping beauty in the front window of Homeless Hong Kong.
Sevva Hong Kong
The outside terrace above, and the view below!
Stunning living wall and the display of Tom Dixons I would love in my kitchen!Last week I was in Hong Kong and visited the very sexy Sevva Restaurant above, then I was in China for a week and not too happy I couldn't post anything on the blog when i got to China! So I am working through my shots now and will do several posts over the next few days about the trip. Had a fabulous time, helped by some amazing dining experiences (of course!) My Collegues who took me to Sevva featured above, where not so excited about the food from past visits but we ordered the local cuisine as one should and not the western, and we weren't disappointed! As you can tell from the shots the decor is worth a visit with stunning 360 views of Hong Kongs Central district and fab cushions!
