At last London! And the lovely Bentalls Department store

I have arrived in London and was lucky enough to go out to meet the wonderful people at Bentalls Department Store in Kingston, who are a huge supporter of AURA - look at our beautiful Sienna on the bed. Bentalls is a great store and AURA looked fabulous thanks to Andrew and his team, it was wonderful to meet you all, and thank you for your support for AURA - we are very proud to be stocked in Bentalls in the UK. Above is Andrew from Bentalls with the lovely Laura from Linen House UK who looked after me and got me out to Kingston and back! 

And look what else we found in Kingston! These traditional UK telephone boxes - this is actually art I didnt push them - as someone asked me when I showed them the shot!.

Anthropologie NYC

Heres a few photos of the Anthropologie - Rockefeller Center store - just gorgeous, I went to many stores in NYC but I went to 3 Anthropologies just to see how they looked as they are so inspiring - and make everything else (except the fabulous ABC Store) pale into insignificance..! 

Le Creuset colours

For those of us that dont live in the USA take a look at all of the fabulous colours you can get in the Le Creuset cookware! Heres a shot in Bloomingdales, I was very jealous and fortunately they are far to heavy to bring home in your luggage or I would have had to pick a colour - which would have been way to hard! 

ABC Store NYC

Here are a couple of shots of the windows at the ABC store NYC - I was wandering around the store for 3 hours totally inspired - if it isnt organic or somehow saving the world it isnt in this store! An overload of fabulous product and I need to learn dont go to the ABC store first on a trip as everything else just pales into insignificance!

Kate Spade - 'escape the ordinary"

The lovely Kate Spade's store in 5th Avenue in Manhattan, a while ago I wrote about her refurbished store so I had to go and visit - gorgeous - Monstera all over the place - strong colours v KS - "escape the ordinary" perfect. 

Off to Stockholm!!

Im leaving on a trip today - off to New York, London and Stockholm, pretty excited, especially about visiting Stockholm for the first time - Image from Elle Deco - doesnt look too bad does it! Unfortunately I dont think I will have lovely sunny weather but I am still looking forward to checking out this beautiful city and the wonderful chic Swedish design. If anyone has any favorite homewares stores in Stockholm they recommend visiting let me know!! 

Striking beds

I am really loving these padded bed heads at the moment, I especially like the bold colours used here that turn an old fashioned bed into a really modern statement. Red bed image found here. Yellow image I have had for a while and I cant quite remember where it is from but I love the relaxed styling on the linen as well!
